Goldwind’s smart maintenance and operation solution GW SES A Series, officially released in August 2016, provides flexible, professional, efficient and customized services to our clients. The SES A100-600 (Goldwind please explain abbreviation) provides six main benefits: customizable services intelligent background joint operation intelligent operation hassle free protection customized flexible, professional and efficient power generation services Goldwind.
Goldwind recently launched the wind farm mobile operation platform GO PLUS to facilitate operation management; operation engineers in the field will have access to real time statistics, meteorological statistics, early warnings and KPI index feedback. GO PLUS is helpful for Goldwind’s technicians, operation managers, and on site operation and maintenance engineers, providing real time analysis based on various resources and enhancing overall operation capabilities.
Over 17,000 WTGs are connected to Goldwind’s Technology Global Monitoring Center, including more than 500 WTGs from the United States, Australia, Thailand, Romania, Ecuador Pakistan, etc.
UP TO 20 YEARS
On signing one of our long-term service contracts, our customers can be assured that they will not incur extra costs for maintenance and operation over a period of up to 20 years.
Goldwind’s proprietary PMDD technology creates greater efficiency and reduces wear and tear. This allows us to ensure our equipment’s overall cost, including warranties, operation and maintenance (WOM), is highly competitive.
We have an established administrative presence and installed capacity on each one of the world’s six continents. Our global service teams are standing by to provide support at any time.
The availability gives direct information about the overall reliability and the operation status of the wind turbine. Goldwind guarantees that the turbine meets the guaranteed availability during the service period.
Based on Goldwind’s maintenance manual, the site service team will implement a scheduled maintenance on a regular basis. The scheduled maintenance will cover inspections of the tower, foundation, main control system, pitch system, nacelle, generator, hub, etc. By implementing a scheduled maintenance, we take preventive measures against any potential risk during operation, ensure quick service support and guarantee a safe and stable turbine operation.
Based on operation conditions (historical operation data, operation years, geographical features and seasonal variation), certain unscheduled maintenance will be implemented by the site service team, including regular sight inspections and trouble shooting.
Material and Spare Parts
In order to guarantee full, accurate and professional material supportability and to facilitate the daily O&M activities, a warehouse will be set up on site base or regional base. The material and spare parts will include consumables, major components and regular spare parts and the stored inventory will be supplemented on a regular basis.
Goldwind provides software and control strategy update service during O&M period, in order to enhance generating capacity of wind turbines and ensure stable operation.
To guarantee the quality and efficiency of daily O&M, Goldwind implemented 24/7 remote monitoring services. The service covers the supervision of operation data and operation stability, with certain supervision reports generated on a monthly basis. A Global Monitoring Center has been established in Beijing, China with several regional monitoring centers working in parallel.
Condition Monitoring System
Goldwind provides a real-time monitoring system with enhanced features on vibration data analysis. By documenting relevant vibration and power signals from the main shaft and main shaft bearing, any risk on the transmission chain will be detected and diagnosed, and the product’s residual life will be extended accordingly. The CMS system has been certified by CNAS and all monitoring specialists have granted certification on vibration analysis.
Problems/failures that can’t be solved by remote technical support within 48 hours, Goldwind will send an expert team for further trouble shooting.
Based on real-time operation data collected from Goldwind wind turbines, combined with the pre-alarm mechanism of Goldwind, certain daily pre-alarm information and pre-alarm monthly reports will be provided to the customers. Via data monitoring and analysis, most operation abnormalities or imminent dangers will be reported to the monitoring office, and relevant precautionary measures will be taken accordingly.
Based on a constellation of power forecasting techniques, especially on the diversified weather data source, Goldwind has set up an integrated forecasting model. The algorithm is based on the integration of data monitoring, numerical forecasting, short-term wind predictions, recovery of theoretical electricity quantities and mid-and-long term power output forecasts, to provide full-scale forecasting services (group level, region level and site level) to customers. So far more than 500 forecasting modules which have been adapted to more than 50 wind farms in domestic and overseas markets have been developed by our engineers.
The power lift service consists of three modules; a Software Control Module, a Pneumatic Optimization Module and an Eco-Friendly Module. Via different combinations, the overall power lift could be optimized, according to the customers’ special requirements. By implementing this service, a 2% to 5% increase of the power output could be achieved, what brings direct economic benefits to the customers.
Wind Farm Post-Evaluation
By the end of the warranty period, wind farm post-evaluation services will be available for customers. The services include
1) Advices/suggestions on future self-reliant O&M works according to site conditions;
2) Suggestions for improving the overall performance and output;

Goldwind provides continuous supportability of spare parts during and after the warranty period and during the service contract term, to ensure that certain spare parts will be purchasable till the end of the product’s life cycle.
